A double fronted Edwardian on a small trianglar block called for an unconventional renovation.
Instead of the standard add-on to the rear of the house, the block was filled in and courtyards
were subtracted for solar gain, cross ventilation and carparking. A clerestory window running
along the diagonal ties together the living areas which open onto a north facing courtyard.
